Today I will become 70 years old. 58 years of Budosports, a very long time, but I still enjoy teaching at the tatemi in the various budo sports.
For many years I am a member of the IBK organization in Kykoshin karate and also of IBK Kyokushin Bodokai All Round Fighting: The John Bluming System is where my heart lies. Concerning judo and jiu jitsu I can rely on the pleasant collaboration with IMAF Netherlands.
I specialy would like to mention the colleagues whom I work with for a long time and with whom I share my budo spirit: Kancho Jan de Bruin kyokushin karate (IBK), Kyokushin Budokai All Round Fighting board members Kancho Eric Vaerenbergh, Marc Howes, Tom Madson. And offcourse Dick Klok (IMAF) and Sir George Popper (IBSSA & ISF). I also would like to mention my son sempai Robin Waerts: We try new techniques, make fun and he has a lot of patience with this old Shihan trying new adjustments????
